Something is wrong with my unit. I did bite the bullet and purchase a window unit but never opened the box. So I am taking it back to the store for my money back. My electric bill hasn't been over $25.00 since May, even with the use of two fans.

Marie comments on Nightly Business Report: Off Campus or On?

Girl you made NBR, I watch that show every night

Congrats!

Mary B. comments on Marriage and Money: The Hubby Speaks Out

You guys did a great job! You should be able to manage your money without spending money to buy a debit card. As one of the commentators wrote, just transfer an amount into a regular credit card issued by a bank. In fact get a debit card that allows you to earn rewards and let them pay you. Paying $3.00 to use my money is a complete waste of money.

Sakina comments on The Prepaid Debit Experiment

To Michelle and Pat, your systems sound gr8. yes, i agree u can do the budgeting aspect with a regular bank account and only put a limited amount in that account. Right now I'm finding that the $3 reload fee is acting as a deterrent to me adding money. I think I might add more to a regular acct. Nonetheless, I have decided to increase the limit by $200 for the month of april (experiment month 2). A budget should be realistic or else u always go off course and beat urself up. So, by the end of April I will know for sure if this budgeting aspect is really working or not. It is a grandslam for sharing funds with hubs w/o sharing the credit or bank rating tho :-)
